Schools are a fantastic way to a greener sustainable life for our next
generation.
There are so many ways to do this from the
education syllabus to the way the school runs its operation, such as
purchasing locally produced food and recycling. Even the school minibus
can be run on renewables.
The same principles apply to schools and business.
The greatest influence on our world will come from our children. By giving
them the understanding of sustainable living, by teaching how to protect
and look after wildlife and the natural habitat and by leading them by
example we will make a huge difference to this amazing world that we
live in.
Greener for Life can accredit your school to become a Greener for Life school with three levels (Gold, Bronze and Silver).
Greener for Life can provide information packs for school children (on request). This will guide you through the road of substainabilty. We have booklets on how children can join in the fun with going green. They can then participate in the school's actions to become green with renewable energy installations.
